Roshan Babu Koottiyaniyel is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer Intern at Walmart Global Tech, with a Masters in Computer Science from Columbia University. He has a strong background in software engineering, machine learning, and cloud computing, with experience working for top-tier companies like Oracle and Qubole. At Oracle, Roshan worked as a Member of Technical Staff in the Adaptive Classification and Redaction team, where he developed a Python-based tool that uses machine learning to identify and redact sensitive information in trace files. He also proposed and designed an Error Correlation module in Java, which helps customers resolve issues by themselves, leading to better customer support and less downtime. Additionally, he created REST endpoints to integrate the ACR tool to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. During his six-month internship at Qubole, Roshan worked with AWS and incorporated Spotinst to instance creation for a Qubole internal testing environment. He also designed a tool to fetch logs from S3 locations and cluster master nodes.
